The MammaCare Method® is the recognized standard for performing and teaching clinical and personal breast  examination. MammaCare certification assures the clinician has met MammaCare's rigorous standards for proficient, skill-based breast examination. The courses are offered to nurses, physicians, radiologic technologists and health educators.  Continuing education contact hours are available.

Clinical Breast Exam (CBE) skills are achieved, measured and recorded using tactually accurate breast models and surrogate patients. As the trainee's proficiency increases, the gains in performance quality and thoroughness are directly monitored using MammaCare's Proficiency Evaluation Lamp. Certification demonstrates that the trainee's clinical skills meet published standards of sensitivity and specificity.  

MammaCare offers three certification courses: Certified MammaCare Specialist Course, Certified MammaCare Clinical Breast Examiner Course and Certified MammaCare BSE Instructor Course. Certifications are valid for three years.

MammaCare Specialists can certify other healthcare professonals with the addition of MammaCare's new CBE Simulator-Trainer.
