MammaCare scientists developed the quality-standards for performing Clinical Breast Examinations (CBE) and Breast Self Examinations (BSE) with the support of the National Cancer Institute and National Science Foundation.

MammaCare research and clinical teams include scientists, physicians, nurses, and skilled, certified practitioners at clinics and medical centers in the US and Europe. MammaCare is taught and practiced in US and EU medical and nursing schools, breast centers, health departments and medical clinics.

The body of published medical evidence supporting CBE and BSE indicates that skilled breast examination is highly effective in detecting early breast cancer. MammacCare's tactually accurate breast models and examination procedures are recognized as  the standards for detecting small, suspicious breast lesions.
